Sofonie Dala is the founder of the multifaceted start-up S.D. Multi Talents - Trade and service Provider. The start-up started in 2019 as an online blog and marketplace for books, entertainments, breaking news and online education for out of school women, girls and disabled people. The company is being expanded to commerce and produce other items. It will offer a myriad of edtech, foodtech, agrifood and other digital services and products.
Young engineer, digital products executive and independent scholar Sofonie Dala is best known for being singled out from over 3000 candidates to represent Angola at the 3rd youth capacity building workshop promoted by African Union/Centre for girls and women’s education in Africa. The event took place in Accra, Ghana 2019.
She wrote a successful research for her country about the implementation of e-learning for out of school women and girls in Angola including disabled people that lack literacy capabilities due many factors, such as: gender inequality, teenage pregnancy and high level of poverty.
She is also known worldwide for her social media activism on behalf of human rights and peace, corruption, gender inequality, discrimination and community gender-based violence. Sofonie Dala is an exemplary, inspirational and motivational young woman who has proven to be an excellent role model for many young Africans.
Sofonie Dala has a Master’s degree in Geology Oil and Gas from the Ufa State Petroleum Technological University. She also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Media Management from Sol Plaatje Institute for Media Leadership – Rhodes University, South Africa.
Additionally, she is currently studying online a leadership and development program at Clinton Global Initiative University.
Sofonie Dala intends to create a community cooperative with a sustainable activity model that empowers women living below the poverty line. She develops and promotes activities to alleviate the problem of the poor.
